I've noticed that blogs are weirdly popular among the wedded crowd. So, in hopes of becoming wedded myself (who wouldn't be impressed by my mad blogging skills?) I have joined the masses. Hello masses!
As all of you know, I am currently preparing to be an intern in 2nd grade. I'm not so sure it's smart to put exactly where I'll be interning so I'm not going to. But, let me tell you something. NEVER BE A TEACHER! I know I'll love it, but it is not fun at all right now. What kind of profession requires you to spend so many unpaid hours just preparing to actually work? Teaching! And to add to all of that I have no idea what I'm doing. What did I learn in all of those classes? Good thing Brooke is around. She has been so helpful! I went to my classroom this week to start setting up/organizing and I know I would have cried if Brooke wasn't there. Thanks Brooke! And yet, even after all that ranting, I'm still excited to teach.
Can I tell you what I have to get done by August 2nd? I have to completely set up my classroom (which moves at a snails pace), plan and execute Camille's bridal shower (you're invited!), take the Praxis test (a teacher test), and complete 2 BYU education courses (how many assignments can they cram into a short time?). All of these things are very time consuming.
As you also know I am currently living with 2 engaged couples. I've noticed a trend for these couples. As it gets closer and closer to their wedding date the more lovey dovey they get. One of these days the fake up-chucking sounds I make will become real. These people are sick. Still, I'm so excited for Camille to finally get hitched. I know we've all been praying for her....
